- Successful negotiations with two key developers to ensure growth within the township was managed to the township’s best advantage, gaining financial and environmental concessions and preserving the maximum open space
- Receipt of over $1.8 million from one developer, which includes enabling a long sought after provision for sewer service to the Chadds Ford village and other properties along Baltimore Pike.
- Commitment of a very large piece (58 acres) of open space dedicated to the township, which would be beyond the township’s financial capacity to acquire.
- Support and passage of an Open Space Referendum for additional open space acquisitions, set asides and development restrictions.
- Preservation of a key historic building (Turner’s Mill) while utilizing it as our new Municipal Building.
- Gaining $410,000 in state grants to further township activities
- $ 15,000 for Mother Archie’s Church preservation
- $ 20,000 grant for a back-up generator for Turner's Mill Town Hall
- $ 25,000 for a computer lab at Chadds Ford Elementary School
- $150,000 for the Sewer Authority
- $200,000 for the Turner’s Mill Town Hall
