About

Republicans have governed Chadds Ford Township, as the majority party for about 170 years - since the Republican Party was formed in 1854 to abolish slavery.  The Chadds Ford Republican Party has been instrumental in preserving the special qualities that Chadds Ford offers its residents.  Our values are defined by what we have accomplished: 25 years of open space initiatives, close involvement with the Brandywine Conservancy, support of the Brandywine Battlefield, protecting the Brandywine Valley landscape and a township real estate tax rate that is the 2nd lowest of all the 49 municipalities in Delaware County.

The Chadds Ford Republican Party is extremely active within our community and we are dedicated to serving our residents, supporting sound local government, maintaining Chadds Ford’s allure, enhancing property values, strengthening our relationships within the community, and continuing to be an asset to our Township.

We publish a community e-news bulletin and occasionally send helpful community information.  Our email correspondence is sent sparingly.  Consider joining our email list to become better informed about our community.  Sign up by emailing chaddsfordrepublicans.com to join.

Opportunities to become more acquainted with the community are abundant.  In addition to the historical organizations and museums, such as the Brandywine Battlefield, Brandywine River Museum, the Sanderson Museum and the Chadds Ford Historical Society, all residents are eligible to become members of the Chadds Ford Residents' Association.

The governing body of Chadds Ford Township, the Board of Supervisors, meets monthly, normally the first Wednesday of the month at the Township Municipal Building.  All residents are invited to attend the meetings.  You may contact the Township Supervisors (Frank Murphy, Samantha Reiner and Noelle Barbone) and/or other Township officials, at the Township Municipal Building, located at 10 Ring Road, or by phone at 610-388-8800.  For more details, visit the Township website, ChaddsFordPA.gov.

In order to fully participate in the democratic process and cast a vote in primary elections, you must choose a party.  Join us!  Help us continue to protect the values of Chadds Ford!   We welcome your participation.
